RunKeeper

The prospect of Nike + but better and for free might sound unlikely, but that's what RunKeeper provides. Previously divided into and 'free' versions 'pro', the developer now generously includes all the features of a free application.
That means you can spend no money, however, to use the iPhone's GPS capabilities to track your jogging and cycling, and examine mapping and details of pace and calories burned. Activities can be shared online and race tape and other details of the exercises can be entered manually.
